Xander rolled his eyes a bit, “Well, considering that’s not a 7-11, that might be why.” So maybe he’d been a dick by not buying her one, but if he was going to hold a conversation with her, he didn’t want to breathe in more cigarette smoke if he could avoid it. A shrug, “Don’t worry about it.” He cracked open his tall can of soda and took healthy sip before leaning back up against the wall.
“I get it. You talked to me, not the other way round.” Sure, he could hit on her, she was pretty, even if she had a cigarette habit, and she was still talking to him. He chuckled, though. Unusual. “You’ve got no idea.” Not that that was necessarily a good thing to say to someone who was cautious. It was, however, obvious to him that she was freezing, and thanks to him, now drinking a frozen beverage. “You wanna go somewhere warmer?”
