Xander smiles, and it’s a gentle, one, he can tell that she’s out of her element, and even amongst normal people, he was a bit of an Experience. “Can’t help it, I’m just perceptive.” Casing a place was a skill of his that never turned off, making sure he could walk in somewhere and everyone would be safe, and no one was waiting for him in the wings, or there wasn’t going to be a full assault team swinging through the windows in the next thirty seconds. Xander was never actually afraid of those things, but there was a feeling akin to a low-level worry for the civilians any time he was out in public. It was different, but he could relate, at least a little, he thought. “And all you did is come sit at a diner?” his gentle smile turns into a mischievous grin, “where’s the fun in that?” He was already thinking of what he could do to give this young woman’s life a bit more fun. Thrills weren’t her cup of tea, she had enough seeing whatever it was she saw, but fun was never off the table. “I’m Xander.”
